We have our first great-grandbaby, Avery Lynne. A big baby (9lbs, 4oz) and it took a long while for mama to have her, but I think we will all agree, she is worth it. She is a beautiful baby (and I don't mean that is her worth, I would love her even if she looked like a toad frog) but she is beautiful, lots of black hair and looks like black eyes, just beautiful! I am so glad she is safely here.
We got the call that Kassidi was having the baby around 10 the night before we were bringing the twins home, I was in Springfield in the Ronald McDonald house with Julie and Garrett and Emmett, so I took off around midnight to go to Branson where Kassidi was having Avery. I got there around 1:00 in the morning or so, and Kassidi was in hard labor already but it was late in the afternoon before she could have Avery. Bless her heart, it was a long drawn out labor, but it is over thank goodness, and a beautiful baby girl to love and spoil for us!
They are very proud and happy parents!
